Most of the planning is done. What we need now is to have some idea of who will be sailing in Annapolis so we can tie up some of the loose ends.

Please note that you can enter now and pay later!

If you are like me you want to know ahead of time who the competition is, but you also want to know before you sign up who else will be there. So please sign up now to show everyone else that you are in, and to support the Class's most important annual event.

Thank you,
Keith

Annapolis is ready for the North Americans October 21 - 24! Here are some items of interest: -

1) I draw you attention to Section 4 of the NOR regarding Fees – see [url="http://www.race.annapolisyc.org/uploads/Ben367_2010_NoR_Final.pdf"]
4.3 The entry fee includes dockage during the event and access to all event parties for the skipper and up to 8 crew. Additional social packages will be available online and at the event for $65 US per person.
4.4 The current social schedule (subject to change) is: Wednesday opening ceremony, Thursday banquet, Saturday cocktail party and Sunday awards party.
4.5 Guest privileges for use of all of the facilities of the Annapolis Yacht Club will be available to all competitors.

Food will be provided at AYC on 4 of the 5 evenings, along with liquid refreshments. We hope that on Friday crews will enjoy legendary Annapolis hospitality and sample the many restaurants and bars within walking distance of the Club. We are working with several popular watering holes to offer discounted meals to NA participants.

2) All participating boats will be docked at the floating docks at the AYC Sailing Center directly across Spa Creek from the main clubhouse. AYC has indicated that there will be a storage area for out-of-town boats to leave personal belongings. Ample parking is across the street at the Annex, which will also be designated as Race HQ.
So, if you are on the fence about coming please understand that this will be a first class event and we will not nickel and dime you while you are here. We are waiting to see how many boats enter before finalizing menus at AYC - so please enter soon! If you need social tickets for more than the 9 covered by the entry fee, the cost is just $65 for the week.

Contact Keith Mayes keithmayes@starpower.net 301-503-4634 or Linda Ambrose at AYC lambrose@annapolisyc.com 443-994-4235 for answers to questions and to make suggestions.
