So anyone taking on new or interesting tasks this spring to their boats? Just interested, the forums are slow. We are doing the usual to That's Ridiculous, except we will not have triples of everything on board like we did last summer. Three first aid kits, three tool boxes, three cooking sets, we are hoping to come out for AYC spring and be up there with the leaders, with our empty(comparably to last year) boat. Starting up work in a few weeks, hope to hear back from some people.

A little bit of what we have been up to. Doing some bottom work to get ready, mainly just prepping for paint, and touching up. Also installed a electrical panel in the port aft owners cabin for some things we are adding. Right now there is only a fan wired to it, but it looks good and makes using the fan in that back cabin easier. The panel is wired directly into the batteries, so we'll see how it works.

Also hit the stainless steel for the first time in 3 years, including the shrouds, which cleaned up amazingly. What I was using is the stuff called brasso, that we had to use MUG year here at Maritime to clean door knobs. Stuff worked great, took the rust stains off the bow pulpit, and even cleaned the shroud bases, and the bits of rust on the deck right near them. I don't know why it is rusting though, cheap stainless I guess. Theses are a few shots of the back of the electrical panel. I was also able to snake the wire down from the ceiling, using an electrical snake. hardest part was going from right above the nav. station to behind it, back where the wires go down. Now just have to get the wires, and out it all together.
