First 36.7 One-Design Class Forum Board Posting Policy

The First 36.7 One-Design Class forum is designed with the purpose of providing a medium for members of the One-Design Class, crew and prospective owners to discuss class related events and share ideas & thoughts pertaining to the Beneteau First 36.7 sailboats.

Postings on the board express the views of the author of the message and not necessarily the views of the National One-Design Class. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact the board administrator (administrator@beneteaufirst367.org) immediately by email. The One- Design Class reserves the right to remove objectionable messages and will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine the removal is necessary. The One-Design Class also reserves the right to remove & ban posters of material that violates this policy from further posting. (See Banning Policy)

You Agree through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy or otherwise violative of any law.

Each user of this board is allowed to register for this forum under one user name. Aliases are not allowed and may be restricted from using the forum or deleted and prevented from registering. Screen Name: Unless otherwise approved by the administrators for good cause, each poster may have only one screen name. If it is discovered that a poster is posting under various screen names without approval from the administrator, the poster, the corresponding IP address and all screen names corresponding to each will be banned. Rule of thumb: One person, One Screen Name Period.

Posts made by "trolls" designed to simply "get a rise" out of readers will also be deleted.

Banning Policy: Certain Offenses as outlined in the rules above will result in immediate and/or permanent banning. Most other offenses will generally result in an initial warning. Additional offenses may result in either a temporary banning (“timeout”). Repeat offenders will be permanently banned in the discretion of the site administration. Rule of thumb: The message boards exist primarily to promote fraternity among First 36.7 racers and all of our guests. Anyone who acts like a child will be treated accordingly.

The National One-Design Class may delete other posts/threads at its discretion in order to maintain the usability of the boards.

Board Advertising and Solicitation Policy

Please do not post commercial advertising messages of any sort on our message boards. This includes vendors and companies posting products, posts advertising goods and services

Please contact the Board Administrator at administrator@beneteaufirst367.orgif you have any questions about whether a post that you wish to make falls into these categories.

We will delete all posts that do not adhere to these guidelines. Repeated posting of such messages will ban you from posting on the site.
